Privacy policy
Effective October 4, 2026. This policy covers blog.biotechhealth.net.
Biotech Health Blog is a reading site. You do not need an account, we do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers or cookies.
What we collect when you read
- Article views. When an article loads, your browser tells us the article, the page that sent you (the referrer, without any query string), any campaign tags in the link (utm parameters), and whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer. To count unique readers we store a code made from your IP address, your browser and the date. The code cannot be reversed into your IP address and changes every day. Your IP address itself is not stored with the view.
- Link clicks. When you click a link to a provider or supplier, we record which link was clicked, on which article, your device type, the referring page, and a code made from your browser's user agent. This is how we count referrals.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our web server keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser, page requested, time) for security and troubleshooting.
What we collect when you contact us
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, topic and message, along with your IP address for spam prevention. Messages are handled in a support system operated by our partner Biotech Lifestyle, and we use them only to reply to you and to fix what you report.
Other services this site uses
- Google Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser information when a page loads. See Google's privacy policy.
- Images in some articles may load from third-party image hosts, which receive your IP address the same way.
- Links to other websites. When you follow a link to a provider, supplier or Biotech Lifestyle, that site's own privacy policy applies. Links to Biotech Lifestyle carry campaign tags that tell it which article sent you.
How long we keep it
View and click records are kept to produce traffic statistics and are never linked to your name or email address. Server logs are kept for security and troubleshooting. Contact messages are kept while we handle your request and afterwards as a record of the conversation, unless you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can read this site with JavaScript turned off, in which case no article views are recorded. You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete your contact messages, through the contact form. This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
